Organic Baby Clothing YAKIMA

Before I had my baby, I never believed I would be part of a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I have become a mum, chatting to other women about what is taking place in my life has benefited me immensely. We discuss how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we love to chat about the newest baby clothes we have picked up.
I more often than not meet with 3 other women, once a fortnight, to find out the latest new. We often meet at Mel's Diner (which is in YAKIMA, WA) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last week was particularly exciting seeing we talked about organic baby clothing. I have been providing my baby girl organic produce from the start but I had never thought about buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown products in America and one of the most devastating to the habitat and to farm workers. The run off from cotton farms has ruined the environment and in particular water supplies. Organic products are grown without the use of artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic pest control practices.
You can purchase beautiful organic baby clothing online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Organic Clothing
Purchasing organic products means you are getting produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or less use of herbicides and fertilizers means less pollution of our land and waterways, less cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.
Several makers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find designers solely devoted to organic baby fashion. Thankfully, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from babies to older children. Of course, organic fashion for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I do not think that I am only ever going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am most definitely going try to whenever I can.
