Organic Baby Clothing WYNDMERE
Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 23-09-2009
Before I had my baby, I never thought I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I am finally a mum, being able to talk to other parents about what is happening in my life has really helped me. We talk about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to discuss the most recent baby outfits we have purchased.
I more often than not meet with 2 other women, once a fortnight, to hear about the latest happenings. We usually meet at Siesta Motel (which is in WYNDMERE, ND) as that is quite central for all of us. Last month was more interesting as we discussed organic baby clothes. I have been providing my baby boy organic produce from the start but I had never thought about buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown plants in America and one of the most ruinous to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from cotton farms has damaged ecosystems and in particular water supplies. Organic products are made without the need for artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Alternatively, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control methods.
You can purchase beautiful organic baby clothes online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some of the cutest organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing
Getting organic produce means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or a reduction in the use of herbicides and fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, reduced health problems for farmers, and fewer health risks for our children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
A number of makers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothing or you can find wholesalers completely devoted to organic baby fashion. Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from toddlers to adolescents. Obviously, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I would not go as far to say that I am just going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am most definitely going try to whenever possible.
