Organic Baby Clothing WEST PALM BEACH
Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 08-08-2008
Back before I had my baby, I never imagined I would be part of a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a new mother, being able to talk to other parents about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we enjoy being able to talk about the newest baby outfits we have purchased.
I generally meet with 4 other parents, once a week, to catch up on the latest gossip. We generally meet at Bar-B-Q Ben's (which is in WEST PALM BEACH, FL) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last time was really interesting as we discussed organic baby clothing. I have been feeding my baby girl organic produce from day one but I had not considered getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most popular products in the world and one of the most harmful to the ecosystem and to farm workers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has ruined ecosystems and particularly water supplies. Organic cotton is made without using artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Instead, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control techniques.
You can purchase organic cotton baby clothing online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Getting organic clothes means you are purchasing products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or reduced use of pesticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our land and lakes, fewer health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
Several producers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic items or you can find companies entirely committed to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from toddlers to adolescents. Of course, organic clothes for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I am not saying that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am most definitely going try to whenever possible.
