Organic Baby Clothing WEST PALM BEACH

Before I had my baby, I never really imagined I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I am a mother, being able to talk to other women about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. We chat about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we like to talk about the latest baby outfits we have picked up.
I generally get together with 3 other women, once a week, to hear about the latest new. We generally meet at Nicole's Village Tavern (which is in WEST PALM BEACH, FL) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last month was really eye opening as we chatted about baby clothes. I have been providing my baby girl organic produce from the beginning but I had never thought about getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown crops in the US and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farmers. The run off from cotton farms has destroyed ecosystems and particularly water bodies. Organic produce is produced without the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control techniques.
Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing
Buying organic clothes means you are getting products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or a reduction in the use of pesticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our farms and rivers, less cancers for farm workers, and fewer health risks for children by reducing their contact with dangerous chemicals.
A number of wholesalers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothing or you can find shops entirely committed to organic baby clothing. Either way, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to older children. Naturally, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I am not saying that I am just going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am absolutely going try to whenever possible.
