Organic Baby Clothing WELLSBURG
Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 16-10-2008
Long before I had my children, I never imagined I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I have become a new mother, chatting to other parents about what is taking place in my life has benefited me immensely. We discuss how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we love to talk about the latest baby clothes we have purchased.
I more often than not go out with 3 other women, once a fortnight, to find out the latest gossip. We generally meet at Caruso's Restaurant (which is in WELLSBURG, WV) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last week was really eye opening because we chatted about organic baby clothing. I have been feeding my baby girl organic meals from the beginning but I had not considered buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown plants in the US and one of the most devastating to the ecosystem and to farm workers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has ruined ecosystems and particularly water supplies. Organic products are grown without using artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Instead, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic pest control methods.
You can buy soft organic cotton baby clothing online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some of the cutest organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Organic Clothing
Buying organic produce means you are getting products which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or reduced use of pesticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, reduced cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
Many makers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find designers entirely committed to organic baby clothing. Anyway, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are catered for, from toddlers to teenagers. Naturally, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I am not saying that I am just going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
