Organic Baby Clothing WEBSTER

Back before I had my first child, I had not imagined I would join a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am finally a mother, being able to talk to other parents about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. We chat about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we enjoy being able to talk about the most recent baby clothes we have picked up.

I more often than not go out with 4 other mothers, once a fortnight, to find out the latest happenings. We generally meet at Royal Dynasty Chinese Restaurant - Baytowne Plaza (which is in WEBSTER, NY) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last time was really eye opening as we talked about organic baby clothing. I have been feeding my baby organic meals from the start but I had never thought about purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most broadly grown plants in the world and one of the most harmful to the ecosystem and to farmers. The run off from these farms has damaged the environment and particularly water ways. Organic products are produced without the use of artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Rather, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control techniques.

You can purchase beautiful organic baby outfits online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Purchasing organic clothes means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to soils and waterways. No or reduced use of pesticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our land and waterways, less diseases for farm workers, and fewer health risks for children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.

Several wholesalers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic items or you can find shops solely dedicated to organic baby clothing. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from babies to adolescents. Obviously, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I am not saying that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am absolutely going try to whenever possible.
