Before I had my children, I never imagined I would belong to a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a new mother, talking to other mothers about what is happening in my life has benefited me immensely. We discuss how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we love to discuss the latest baby clothes we have purchased.

Getting organic clothing means you are getting products which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to soils and waterways. No or a reduction in the use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and lakes, fewer health problems for farmers, and fewer health risks for children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.

I would not go as far to say that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am without a doubt going try to whenever it is available.
