Organic Baby Clothing WAUSAU
Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 09-08-2010
Back before I had my baby, I had not imagined I would belong to a mothers group. However, now that I am finally a mum, chatting to other parents about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. We chat about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we love to talk about the latest baby fashions we have purchased.
I more often than not get together with 3 other mothers, once a fortnight, to find out the latest happenings. We often meet at Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken & Katering Kitchen (which is in WAUSAU, WI) as that is quite central for all of us. Last month was particularly interesting as we chatted about baby clothes. I have been giving my baby boy organic meals from day one but it had never crossed my mind to purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most popular crops in the world and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farm workers. The run off from cotton farms has damaged the environment and in particular water bodies. Organic produce is made without the use of artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Rather, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control techniques.
You can buy organic cotton baby outfits online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Purchasing organic produce means you are getting produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or a reduction in the use of pesticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our land and rivers, fewer health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by moderating their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
Several makers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothing or you can find retailers completely devoted to organic baby clothes. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from infants to older children. Of course, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I do not think that I am just going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am absolutely going try to whenever possible.
