Organic Baby Clothing WATERBURY

Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 15-11-2009

Back before I had my baby, I had not imagined I would be part of a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I have become a mum, chatting to other parents about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. We talk about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we enjoy being able to talk about the newest baby outfits we have picked up.

I usually get together with 4 other mothers, once a week, to hear about the latest gossip. We generally meet at Tam & Eggs (which is in WATERBURY, CT) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was more eye opening seeing we discussed organic baby clothing. I have been giving my baby boy organic meals from the beginning but it had never crossed my mind to buying organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular plants in the world and one of the most ruinous to the environment and to farmers. The run off from these farms has destroyed habitats and in particular water bodies. Organic produce is made without the need for artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Instead, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic insect control techniques.

You can purchase beautiful organic baby clothing online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Purchasing organic clothes means you are purchasing clothes which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or reduced use of herbicides and fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, less health problems for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our children by reducing their contact with toxic chemicals.

A number of producers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic items or you can find designers solely committed to organic baby clothing. Anyway, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are provided for, from babies to teenagers. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I am not saying that I am just going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am without a doubt going try to whenever I can.
