Organic Baby Clothing WASHINGTON

Back before I had my first child, I never thought I would be part of a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I have become a mother, talking to other parents about what is going on in my life has really helped me. We discuss how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we love to discuss the most recent baby clothes we have bought.
I usually get together with 3 other parents, once a fortnight, to hear about the latest gossip. We usually meet at Wall Street Deli (which is in WASHINGTON, DC) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last time was more eye opening seeing we chatted about organic baby clothes. I have been providing my baby boy organic food from the start but I had not considered purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most popular crops in the world and one of the most ruinous to the ecosystem and to farmers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has destroyed habitats and in particular water ways. Organic produce is grown without the use of artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Rather, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control methods.
Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Buying organic clothes means you are getting clothes which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or a reduction in the use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, reduced cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for children by reducing their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Many wholesalers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothes or you can find retailers solely dedicated to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are provided for, from babies to older children. Naturally, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I do not think that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am without a doubt going try to whenever it is available.
