Before I had my first child, I had not believed I would join a mothers group. However, now that I am a mum, being able to talk to other women about what is happening in my life has benefited me immensely. We talk about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we like to discuss the newest baby clothes we have purchased.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Getting organic produce means you are buying produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or less use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our land and rivers, fewer cancers for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by moderating their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Several producers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic items or you can find designers solely devoted to organic baby fashion. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to adolescents. Obviously, organic clothing for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I am not saying that I am just going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
