Organic Baby Clothing VIRGINIA BEACH
Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 11-08-2010
Long before I had my baby, I never really imagined I would belong to a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am a new mother, talking to other women about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. We discuss how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we enjoy being able to chat about the newest baby fashions we have purchased.
I usually go out with 2 other parents, once a fortnight, to find out the latest new. We generally meet at Pizza Delight (which is in VIRGINIA BEACH, VA) as that is quite central for all of us. Last month was really eye opening because we chatted about organic baby clothing. I have been feeding my baby girl organic meals from day one but it had never crossed my mind to getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most popular plants in the US and one of the most harmful to the ecosystem and to farm employees. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has destroyed ecosystems and in particular water supplies. Organic cotton is made without the use of artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Instead, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control methods.
You can get beautiful organic baby clothes online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Buying organic produce means you are buying clothes which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less pollution of soils and waterways. No or a reduction in the use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and waterways, reduced cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for our children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.
Many makers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic items or you can find wholesalers solely devoted to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to older children. Obviously, organic fashion for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I do not think that I am only going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am absolutely going try to whenever I can.
