Organic Baby Clothing VALLIANT

Back before I had my children, I never imagined I would join a mothers group. However, now that I am a new mother, being able to talk to other parents about what is taking place in my life has benefited me immensely. We talk about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to chat about the latest baby fashions we have bought.
I generally meet with 3 other women, once a fortnight, to hear about the latest happenings. We generally meet at Peggy's Cafe (which is in VALLIANT, OK) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last month was particularly exciting seeing we talked about baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby organic produce from the start but I had not considered purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown plants in the world and one of the most devastating to the habitat and to farm workers. The run off from these farms has destroyed the environment and particularly water ways. Organic products are made without the need for artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Alternatively, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control techniques.
Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing
Purchasing organic produce means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or reduced use of herbicides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and rivers, fewer diseases for farm employees, and fewer health risks for children by reducing their contact with toxic chemicals.
A number of producers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic items or you can find designers completely dedicated to organic baby clothes. Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to adolescents. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I do not think that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
