Organic Baby Clothing TULSA

Before I had my first child, I had not believed I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I am finally a mother, chatting to other women about what is happening in my life has really helped me. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we enjoy being able to chat about the latest baby outfits we have purchased.
I more often than not get together with 3 other parents, once a fortnight, to find out the latest new. We generally meet at China Wok (which is in TULSA, OK) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last time was really eye opening seeing we talked about organic baby clothes. I have been providing my baby organic food from the start but it had never crossed my mind to purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most popular crops in the US and one of the most ruinous to the environment and to farmers. The run off from cotton farms has damaged ecosystems and especially water supplies. Organic produce is grown without using artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Rather, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control methods.
Benefits of Organic Clothing
Buying organic clothing means you are buying produce which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less damage to soils and waterways. No or reduced use of pesticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and waterways, fewer diseases for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.
Many wholesalers of baby clothes also make a range of organic items or you can find companies completely committed to organic baby clothing. Anyway, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to teenagers. Of course, organic fashion for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I would not go as far to say that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am without a doubt going try to whenever I can.
