Organic Baby Clothing TRIMBLE

Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 20-07-2009

Back before I had my baby, I never believed I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am finally a mother, chatting to other women about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we love to talk about the most recent baby fashions we have purchased.

I more often than not meet with 3 other mothers, once a fortnight, to catch up on the latest gossip. We generally meet at Kaslers Country Kitchen (which is in TRIMBLE, OH) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last month was more interesting seeing we discussed baby clothes. I have been giving my baby organic food from day one but I had not considered purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular products in the world and one of the most harmful to the habitat and to farm employees. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has destroyed ecosystems and in particular water bodies. Organic produce is grown without the need for artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Instead, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic insect control practices.

You can purchase soft organic cotton baby clothing online from a number of stores. Sckoon is my favourite for organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Getting organic clothing means you are buying produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or reduced use of pesticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our land and waterways, fewer health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our children by lessening their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Quite a few makers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothes or you can find shops entirely committed to organic baby clothes. Thankfully, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to older children. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I would not go as far to say that I am only going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am most definitely going try to whenever it is available.
