Organic Baby Clothing TRENTON

Before I had my first child, I never imagined I would be part of a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am a new mother, being able to talk to other mothers about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. We chat about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we like to talk about the newest baby clothes we have purchased.

I more often than not get together with 3 other parents, once a month, to hear about the latest gossip. We generally meet at Martinis Restaurant & Bar (which is in TRENTON, NJ) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last month was really exciting because we chatted about organic baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby boy organic food from day one but I had not considered buying organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most widely grown crops in America and one of the most harmful to the ecosystem and to farmers. The run off from these farms has ruined the environment and especially water ways. Organic produce is produced without using artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Alternatively, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic insect control techniques.

You can get beautiful organic baby clothing online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Getting organic products means you are buying clothes which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less pollution of our habitat. No or a reduction in the use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, reduced diseases for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with dangerous chemicals.

Several producers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find designers completely dedicated to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from babies to adolescents. Of course, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I do not think that I am only going to buy organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am most definitely going try to whenever possible.
