Long before I had my first child, I never really thought I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I have become a mum, being able to talk to other women about what is taking place in my life has benefited me immensely. Buying organic produce means you are purchasing clothes which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less contamination of soils and waterways. No or less use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and rivers, fewer cancers for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.

Thankfully, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are catered for, from toddlers to teenagers. I would not go as far to say that I am just going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am absolutely going try to whenever possible.
