Long before I had my baby, I never thought I would belong to a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am a mother, talking to other women about what is taking place in my life has benefited me immensely. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we enjoy being able to talk about the most recent baby fashions we have picked up.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Buying organic products means you are purchasing clothes which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or less use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and rivers, reduced diseases for farm workers, and fewer health risks for children by moderating their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

A number of producers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothing or you can find designers entirely dedicated to organic baby clothes. Thankfully, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are provided for, from infants to adolescents. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I do not think that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am most definitely going try to whenever it is available.
