Organic Baby Clothing SYRACUSE

Before I had my first child, I never imagined I would join a mothers group. However, now that I am a new mother, chatting to other parents about what is taking place in my life has really helped me. We chat about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to discuss the most recent baby clothes we have purchased.
I generally go out with 4 other mothers, once a week, to find out the latest happenings. We often meet at Dippin Donuts (which is in SYRACUSE, NY) as that is quite central for all of us. Last week was more interesting as we talked about baby clothes. I have been providing my baby boy organic food from the start but I had never thought about purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown crops in the world and one of the most ruinous to the ecosystem and to farmers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has damaged the environment and in particular water supplies. Organic cotton is made without the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Rather, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic insect control methods.
You can buy beautiful organic baby outfits online from a number of retailers. Sckoon is my favourite for organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Organic Clothing
Getting organic clothes means you are buying products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less pollution of our habitat. No or reduced use of herbicides and fertilizers means less pollution of our land and lakes, fewer cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with toxic chemicals.
Many makers of baby clothes also make a range of organic items or you can find designers completely committed to organic baby clothing. Thankfully, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to teenagers. Obviously, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I am not saying that I am only going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
