Organic Baby Clothing SUN VALLEY

Back before I had my children, I had not thought I would join a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am a mother, talking to other mothers about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. We talk about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we like to talk about the newest baby clothes we have picked up.
I usually go out with 3 other parents, once a month, to catch up on the latest gossip. We often meet at El Pollo Loco (which is in SUN VALLEY, CA) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last month was particularly eye opening as we chatted about organic baby clothing. I have been providing my baby girl organic food from the beginning but I had not considered purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown plants in the world and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from cotton farms has ruined ecosystems and particularly water supplies. Organic products are made without using artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Rather, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control methods.
Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Buying organic clothing means you are buying products which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or a reduction in the use of herbicides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and rivers, less cancers for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our children by lessening their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
Several wholesalers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic items or you can find companies entirely devoted to organic baby fashion. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from infants to teenagers. Of course, organic fashion for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I would not go as far to say that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am absolutely going try to whenever it is available.
