Organic Baby Clothing STONEVILLE

Back before I had my children, I had not imagined I would join a mothers group. However, now that I am finally a mother, chatting to other parents about what is going on in my life has really helped me. We discuss how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we love to chat about the latest baby outfits we have purchased.
I more often than not go out with 2 other parents, once a fortnight, to hear about the latest gossip. We generally meet at Debbies Restaurant & Catering (which is in STONEVILLE, NC) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last month was more eye opening seeing we chatted about baby clothes. I have been giving my baby organic food from day one but I had not considered getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most popular plants in the world and one of the most harmful to the habitat and to farm workers. The run off from cotton farms has damaged the environment and particularly water supplies. Organic cotton is made without using artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic pest control practices.
Benefits of Organic Clothing
Getting organic products means you are purchasing products which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or a reduction in the use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, fewer cancers for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Quite a few producers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothing or you can find companies completely devoted to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are provided for, from toddlers to adolescents. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I would not go as far to say that I am just going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am most definitely going try to whenever it is available.
