Organic Baby Clothing STEVENSVILLE
Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 30-06-2009
Back before I had my first child, I had not imagined I would join a mothers group. However, now that I am a mother, chatting to other parents about what is taking place in my life has really helped me. We talk about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we enjoy being able to discuss the newest baby clothes we have bought.
I usually go out with 2 other women, once a week, to hear about the latest gossip. We often meet at Tosis Restaurant (which is in STEVENSVILLE, MI) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last month was more eye opening because we talked about organic baby clothing. I have been feeding my baby organic meals from day one but I had not considered buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown crops in America and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farmers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has damaged habitats and particularly water ways. Organic cotton is produced without the need for artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control methods.
You can purchase beautiful organic baby clothes online from a number of stores. Sckoon is my favourite for organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Purchasing organic products means you are getting clothes which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or a reduction in the use of herbicides and fertilisers means less pollution of our land and lakes, reduced health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
Many makers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothing or you can find companies entirely dedicated to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to adolescents. Obviously, organic fashion for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I do not think that I am just going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am absolutely going try to whenever I can.
