Organic Baby Clothing STATEN ISLAND

Before I had my baby, I never really imagined I would belong to a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I have become a mother, chatting to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has really helped me. We chat about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to discuss the newest baby fashions we have purchased.
I usually go out with 2 other parents, once a week, to hear about the latest new. We often meet at Miggys Supermarket (which is in STATEN ISLAND, NY) as that is quite central for all of us. Last week was particularly eye opening seeing we chatted about organic baby clothing. I have been giving my baby organic food from day one but I had never thought about purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown plants in the world and one of the most devastating to the ecosystem and to farm employees. The run off from these farms has destroyed the environment and in particular water ways. Organic cotton is made without using artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Instead, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic insect control techniques.
You can buy organic baby clothes online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some of the cutest organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Organic Clothing
Buying organic clothing means you are getting produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or less use of herbicides and fertilizers means less pollution of our land and lakes, reduced health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
Many makers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothes or you can find stores solely devoted to organic baby clothes. Thankfully, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are provided for, from infants to older children. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I do not think that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am definitely going try to whenever possible.
