Organic Baby Clothing STATE COLLEGE

Long before I had my first child, I never really imagined I would belong to a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I have become a mother, chatting to other women about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we like to talk about the latest baby outfits we have picked up.
I more often than not meet with 2 other women, once a month, to hear about the latest happenings. We usually meet at Oriental Buffet Inc (which is in STATE COLLEGE, PA) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last month was really exciting because we talked about organic baby clothing. I have been providing my baby girl organic meals from the beginning but it had never crossed my mind to getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most popular products in the US and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from these farms has damaged habitats and especially water bodies. Organic cotton is grown without using artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic pest control practices.
You can buy soft organic cotton baby clothes online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Organic Clothing
Purchasing organic clothes means you are purchasing clothes which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less contamination of soils and waterways. No or a reduction in the use of pesticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and rivers, fewer cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.
Several wholesalers of baby clothes also make a range of organic items or you can find stores solely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Anyway, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are catered for, from toddlers to older children. Of course, organic fashion for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I am not saying that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am definitely going try to whenever it is available.
