Organic Baby Clothing SIERRA VISTA

Before I had my children, I never imagined I would be part of a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am finally a new mother, talking to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we like to discuss the most recent baby outfits we have purchased.
I more often than not get together with 2 other mothers, once a fortnight, to catch up on the latest happenings. We usually meet at Real Taco (which is in SIERRA VISTA, AZ) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last month was particularly exciting because we talked about baby clothes. I have been giving my baby boy organic food from the start but I had never thought about buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown products in the US and one of the most ruinous to the habitat and to farm workers. The run off from cotton farms has destroyed habitats and particularly water bodies. Organic cotton is grown without using artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Rather, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic pest control methods.
Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing
Getting organic clothing means you are buying clothes which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or less use of insecticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and lakes, less health problems for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by moderating their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
A number of wholesalers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find companies entirely committed to organic baby clothes. Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are provided for, from infants to older children. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I am not saying that I am just going to buy organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am most definitely going try to whenever it is available.
