Before I had my children, I never really thought I would belong to a mothers group. However, now that I am a new mother, chatting to other women about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. Purchasing organic produce means you are buying products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or reduced use of herbicides and fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and rivers, reduced diseases for farmers, and fewer health risks for children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.

Anyway, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from babies to adolescents. Of course, organic clothes for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I do not think that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am most definitely going try to whenever I can.
