Organic Baby Clothing SCOTTSDALE

Long before I had my first child, I never believed I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a new mother, talking to other mothers about what is going on in my life has really helped me. We discuss how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to discuss the newest baby clothes we have bought.

I generally get together with 2 other women, once a month, to find out the latest happenings. We often meet at Casellas Italian Delicatessen (which is in SCOTTSDALE, AZ) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last month was more eye opening seeing we discussed organic baby clothes. I have been providing my baby girl organic produce from day one but I had never thought about getting organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular plants in the world and one of the most harmful to the ecosystem and to farm employees. The run off from cotton farms has damaged the environment and in particular water supplies. Organic products are produced without the need for artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic pest control practices.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Purchasing organic produce means you are getting clothes which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or a reduction in the use of herbicides and fertilizers means less pollution of our farms and rivers, fewer diseases for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

A number of wholesalers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic items or you can find retailers entirely dedicated to organic baby clothing. Thankfully, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from babies to adolescents. Of course, organic fashion for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I would not go as far to say that I am only going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am most definitely going try to whenever possible.
