Organic Baby Clothing SAUGATUCK

Before I had my first child, I never really believed I would be part of a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am finally a new mother, talking to other parents about what is taking place in my life has really helped me. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we enjoy being able to discuss the most recent baby fashions we have picked up.

I more often than not meet with 2 other mothers, once a fortnight, to hear about the latest new. We usually meet at Guesthouse Inn - Timberline (which is in SAUGATUCK, MI) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was particularly interesting because we chatted about organic baby clothes. I have been giving my baby boy organic produce from the start but I had never thought about purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most broadly grown plants in the world and one of the most harmful to the ecosystem and to farm employees. The run off from these farms has ruined ecosystems and in particular water bodies. Organic produce is made without the need for artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Rather, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic insect control techniques.

You can buy organic baby outfits online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Getting organic clothing means you are getting clothes which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less pollution of soils and waterways. No or a reduction in the use of herbicides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, fewer diseases for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

A number of producers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothes or you can find shops entirely devoted to organic baby clothing. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from infants to adolescents. Obviously, organic clothes for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I do not think that I am only going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am definitely going try to whenever I can.
