Back before I had my baby, I had not imagined I would join a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am finally a mother, talking to other women about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. Purchasing organic clothing means you are buying produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or a reduction in the use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and waterways, less health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with dangerous chemicals.

I do not think that I am only going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
