Before I had my first child, I never really believed I would belong to a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I have become a new mother, talking to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. We chat about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we like to chat about the most recent baby clothes we have bought.

I more often than not get together with 4 other mothers, once a fortnight, to catch up on the latest gossip. Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Getting organic produce means you are purchasing clothes which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or less use of pesticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, fewer cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.

A number of makers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find designers solely committed to organic baby clothing. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from infants to older children. Obviously, organic fashion for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I am not saying that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am most definitely going try to whenever possible.
