Organic Baby Clothing RALEIGH

Long before I had my first child, I had not believed I would join a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I have become a new mother, chatting to other women about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. We talk about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to chat about the latest baby clothes we have bought.

I generally meet with 3 other parents, once a week, to hear about the latest new. We often meet at Seaboard Cafe (which is in RALEIGH, NC) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last time was really interesting because we talked about baby clothes. I have been providing my baby boy organic produce from day one but I had never thought about getting organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most widely grown plants in the US and one of the most devastating to the ecosystem and to farm employees. The run off from these farms has ruined the environment and especially water bodies. Organic cotton is produced without the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic pest control methods.

You can get organic baby clothes online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Buying organic clothing means you are purchasing clothes which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less pollution of our habitat. No or reduced use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and lakes, less diseases for farmers, and fewer health risks for our children by moderating their contact with dangerous chemicals.

Several producers of baby clothes also make a range of organic items or you can find designers solely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Thankfully, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are provided for, from toddlers to teenagers. Of course, organic fashion for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I am not saying that I am just going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
