Organic Baby Clothing RAHWAY

Long before I had my first child, I never really believed I would join a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am a new mother, talking to other women about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. We chat about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we like to discuss the latest baby outfits we have bought.

I generally get together with 2 other mothers, once a fortnight, to find out the latest happenings. We usually meet at Back Porch (which is in RAHWAY, NJ) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last time was particularly exciting because we talked about organic baby clothes. I have been providing my baby boy organic meals from the beginning but I had not considered getting organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular products in America and one of the most ruinous to the ecosystem and to farmers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has destroyed the environment and particularly water bodies. Organic products are grown without using artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Instead, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control techniques.

You can purchase soft organic cotton baby clothing online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some of the cutest organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Purchasing organic clothing means you are buying products which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or a reduction in the use of herbicides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, reduced health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.

A number of producers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find shops completely dedicated to organic baby clothes. Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from infants to teenagers. Obviously, organic clothes for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I would not go as far to say that I am only ever going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am without a doubt going try to whenever it is available.
