Long before I had my baby, I never believed I would be part of a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I have become a mum, being able to talk to other women about what is happening in my life has really helped me. We talk about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we love to chat about the most recent baby fashions we have purchased.

I usually meet with 4 other women, once a month, to hear about the latest gossip. We generally meet at Hardees of Princeton 1839 (which is in PRINCETON, NC) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last month was really interesting because we talked about organic baby clothing. Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Purchasing organic produce means you are getting produce which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or a reduction in the use of pesticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our land and waterways, reduced cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.

Many producers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find designers solely committed to organic baby clothes. Thankfully, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to teenagers. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I am not saying that I am only ever going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
