Organic Baby Clothing PITTSBURGH

Back before I had my children, I never thought I would belong to a mothers group. However, now that I am finally a mum, chatting to other parents about what is happening in my life has benefited me immensely. We talk about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we like to chat about the latest baby outfits we have bought.
I more often than not meet with 4 other parents, once a fortnight, to catch up on the latest new. We usually meet at Radisson Hotel Pittsburgh-Greentree (which is in PITTSBURGH, PA) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last week was more exciting as we discussed organic baby clothes. I have been giving my baby boy organic produce from day one but I had never thought about getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown products in the US and one of the most ruinous to the habitat and to farmers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has ruined ecosystems and especially water supplies. Organic cotton is made without the need for artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Instead, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic pest control practices.
Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Purchasing organic produce means you are getting clothes which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or reduced use of pesticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our land and waterways, less diseases for farm workers, and fewer health risks for children by lessening their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
Several wholesalers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find retailers entirely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Thankfully, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to older children. Obviously, organic clothes for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I do not think that I am just going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am absolutely going try to whenever I can.
