Organic Baby Clothing PHOENIX

Back before I had my baby, I had not thought I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I have become a mother, chatting to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has benefited me immensely. We chat about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we enjoy being able to discuss the most recent baby fashions we have bought.

I usually go out with 2 other parents, once a week, to find out the latest new. We usually meet at King Gyros (which is in PHOENIX, AZ) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last month was more interesting seeing we chatted about organic baby clothing. I have been providing my baby boy organic food from day one but it had never crossed my mind to buying organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most widely grown plants in the US and one of the most devastating to the environment and to farm workers. The run off from these farms has ruined habitats and in particular water bodies. Organic cotton is produced without the need for artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Rather, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control techniques.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Getting organic clothing means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less damage to soils and waterways. No or a reduction in the use of herbicides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, less cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our children by reducing their contact with toxic chemicals.

Many wholesalers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothes or you can find designers solely dedicated to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from toddlers to older children. Naturally, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I would not go as far to say that I am only going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am most definitely going try to whenever possible.
