Organic Baby Clothing ORANGE

Before I had my children, I had not imagined I would be part of a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am finally a mother, talking to other mothers about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. We talk about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we like to discuss the newest baby clothes we have purchased.
I generally go out with 4 other women, once a week, to catch up on the latest happenings. We often meet at Bangkok TSAI Cuisine (which is in ORANGE, CT) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last time was particularly interesting as we chatted about organic baby clothing. I have been feeding my baby boy organic food from the beginning but it had never crossed my mind to buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown crops in the world and one of the most devastating to the ecosystem and to farm workers. The run off from cotton farms has damaged ecosystems and in particular water ways. Organic cotton is made without the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control practices.
You can buy organic baby outfits online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing
Buying organic clothing means you are buying clothes which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less pollution of our habitat. No or a reduction in the use of insecticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and rivers, fewer diseases for farm employees, and fewer health risks for children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.
A number of producers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothing or you can find shops completely devoted to organic baby fashion. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to adolescents. Obviously, organic clothes for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I would not go as far to say that I am just going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
