Organic Baby Clothing NORTH MYRTLE BEACH

Before I had my first child, I never thought I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I am finally a mum, chatting to other women about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we like to talk about the most recent baby clothes we have purchased.

I generally get together with 3 other mothers, once a week, to find out the latest happenings. We often meet at Villa Tuscanna (which is in NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last month was more interesting as we discussed organic baby clothes. I have been giving my baby boy organic produce from the start but I had never thought about purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most broadly grown products in America and one of the most ruinous to the habitat and to farm workers. The run off from these farms has destroyed the environment and especially water supplies. Organic products are grown without the need for artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Alternatively, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control methods.

You can get soft organic cotton baby apparel online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Purchasing organic produce means you are buying produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or a reduction in the use of herbicides and fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and rivers, fewer diseases for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with toxic chemicals.

Quite a few wholesalers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothes or you can find retailers entirely devoted to organic baby clothing. Anyway, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to older children. Obviously, organic fashion for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I would not go as far to say that I am just going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am absolutely going try to whenever it is available.
