Before I had my children, I never believed I would be part of a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a mother, being able to talk to other mothers about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. No or less use of insecticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our land and waterways, fewer diseases for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.
