Organic Baby Clothing NORRISTOWN

Back before I had my first child, I never really believed I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I am finally a new mother, being able to talk to other mothers about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. We talk about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we like to chat about the most recent baby outfits we have purchased.
I usually get together with 2 other women, once a fortnight, to hear about the latest happenings. We generally meet at Rays Diner (which is in NORRISTOWN, PA) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last week was more interesting because we discussed organic baby clothing. I have been providing my baby girl organic meals from day one but I had never thought about buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most popular crops in America and one of the most devastating to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from these farms has destroyed ecosystems and in particular water bodies. Organic cotton is grown without using artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Rather, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control techniques.
You can buy organic cotton baby apparel online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Organic Clothing
Getting organic produce means you are purchasing products which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or less use of herbicides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, fewer cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.
A number of wholesalers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothing or you can find companies entirely devoted to organic baby fashion. Either way, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are catered for, from toddlers to older children. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I do not think that I am just going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am most definitely going try to whenever I can.
