Organic Baby Clothing NILES

Before I had my children, I never really thought I would be part of a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I have become a mother, talking to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has benefited me immensely. We chat about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we like to chat about the newest baby outfits we have bought.
I usually go out with 2 other women, once a fortnight, to hear about the latest new. We often meet at Happy House Restaurant (which is in NILES, MI) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last week was more eye opening seeing we talked about organic baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby girl organic meals from the beginning but I had never thought about getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown crops in the US and one of the most devastating to the environment and to farmers. The run off from cotton farms has destroyed ecosystems and especially water supplies. Organic products are made without using artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic pest control techniques.
Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Getting organic products means you are getting products which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or a reduction in the use of pesticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, reduced cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Several producers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic items or you can find retailers solely devoted to organic baby fashion. Anyway, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are provided for, from babies to teenagers. Naturally, organic fashion for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I am not saying that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
