Back before I had my children, I never imagined I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am finally a new mother, talking to other women about what is happening in my life has benefited me immensely. Purchasing organic clothes means you are getting clothes which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to soils and waterways. No or reduced use of pesticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our land and lakes, less cancers for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.

Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to adolescents. I am not saying that I am only going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am definitely going try to whenever possible.
