Organic Baby Clothing NEPTUNE BEACH

Back before I had my first child, I never imagined I would belong to a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am a new mother, being able to talk to other women about what is happening in my life has benefited me immensely. We talk about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we love to talk about the latest baby outfits we have picked up.
I more often than not get together with 3 other parents, once a week, to catch up on the latest new. We usually meet at Good Times Pizza (which is in NEPTUNE BEACH, FL) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last time was more exciting as we discussed organic baby clothes. I have been providing my baby girl organic produce from the start but I had never thought about getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown crops in America and one of the most harmful to the habitat and to farm employees. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has ruined the environment and in particular water supplies. Organic produce is grown without the use of artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Instead, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic pest control techniques.
Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing
Purchasing organic clothes means you are buying produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or less use of insecticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our land and rivers, reduced cancers for farm workers, and fewer health risks for children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.
Many wholesalers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find companies solely devoted to organic baby fashion. Thankfully, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are provided for, from babies to adolescents. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I am not saying that I am just going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am most definitely going try to whenever it is available.
