Organic Baby Clothing NAPERVILLE

Long before I had my baby, I never imagined I would join a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I have become a mum, being able to talk to other women about what is happening in my life has benefited me immensely. We talk about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we enjoy being able to chat about the newest baby outfits we have purchased.

I more often than not get together with 4 other parents, once a fortnight, to catch up on the latest new. We often meet at Tongs House Inc (which is in NAPERVILLE, IL) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last week was particularly exciting seeing we talked about organic baby clothing. I have been giving my baby girl organic food from the beginning but I had not considered buying organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular products in the world and one of the most harmful to the ecosystem and to farm workers. The run off from these farms has ruined ecosystems and in particular water ways. Organic cotton is grown without using artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Instead, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic insect control practices.

You can buy soft organic cotton baby clothing online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some of the cutest organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Getting organic clothes means you are buying produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less pollution of our habitat. No or reduced use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our land and lakes, less cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for our children by reducing their contact with toxic chemicals.

Quite a few producers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothing or you can find designers solely devoted to organic baby fashion. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to teenagers. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I would not go as far to say that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am definitely going try to whenever I can.
