Organic Baby Clothing MOSS POINT

Back before I had my baby, I had not believed I would belong to a mothers group. However, now that I have become a new mother, chatting to other parents about what is taking place in my life has really helped me. We chat about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we enjoy being able to discuss the newest baby fashions we have picked up.

I usually get together with 2 other women, once a month, to hear about the latest gossip. We often meet at Heritage House (which is in MOSS POINT, MS) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last time was more exciting as we chatted about organic baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby boy organic produce from day one but I had not considered getting organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular products in the US and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from cotton farms has ruined habitats and in particular water ways. Organic cotton is grown without the need for artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control methods.

You can buy organic cotton baby clothing online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Organic Clothing

Getting organic produce means you are getting produce which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or reduced use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, fewer cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for our children by moderating their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

A number of wholesalers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic items or you can find designers entirely dedicated to organic baby clothing. Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to older children. Obviously, organic fashion for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I am not saying that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am definitely going try to whenever I can.
