Organic Baby Clothing MOORHEAD

Back before I had my children, I never imagined I would join a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I have become a new mother, being able to talk to other women about what is going on in my life has really helped me. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to chat about the newest baby fashions we have bought.

I more often than not meet with 2 other mothers, once a fortnight, to hear about the latest gossip. We generally meet at Mcdonald's Carry Out Restaurant (which is in MOORHEAD, MN) as that is quite central for all of us. Last month was more interesting seeing we talked about organic baby clothing. I have been feeding my baby boy organic produce from the beginning but I had not considered purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular products in America and one of the most ruinous to the ecosystem and to farmers. The run off from these farms has destroyed habitats and especially water supplies. Organic produce is made without the need for artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Rather, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic pest control practices.

You can buy organic cotton baby clothes online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some of the cutest organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Organic Clothing

Getting organic clothing means you are buying clothes which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or reduced use of insecticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and lakes, reduced health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.

A number of producers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothing or you can find shops solely committed to organic baby fashion. Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to older children. Obviously, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I do not think that I am only ever going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am absolutely going try to whenever it is available.
