Organic Baby Clothing MONTELLO

Long before I had my baby, I had not imagined I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I have become a mother, talking to other parents about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we like to talk about the most recent baby outfits we have picked up.

I more often than not go out with 4 other parents, once a fortnight, to catch up on the latest gossip. We generally meet at Mom's Korner Kitchen (which is in MONTELLO, WI) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last month was more exciting because we talked about baby clothes. I have been providing my baby organic produce from the beginning but I had not considered buying organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular crops in America and one of the most ruinous to the ecosystem and to farm workers. The run off from these farms has destroyed habitats and particularly water supplies. Organic cotton is produced without using artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Instead, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control techniques.

You can buy beautiful organic baby outfits online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Organic Clothing

Purchasing organic products means you are purchasing clothes which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or a reduction in the use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, less health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Several retailers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find retailers completely committed to organic baby fashion. Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to older children. Obviously, organic clothes for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I am not saying that I am only ever going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am definitely going try to whenever it is available.
