Organic Baby Clothing MONROE

Back before I had my children, I never imagined I would be part of a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I have become a new mother, being able to talk to other women about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we enjoy being able to discuss the most recent baby outfits we have purchased.
I generally get together with 2 other women, once a fortnight, to hear about the latest happenings. We usually meet at Palmyra (which is in MONROE, LA) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last week was particularly interesting seeing we discussed organic baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby boy organic meals from the beginning but I had not considered getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown products in the world and one of the most ruinous to the habitat and to farmers. The run off from cotton farms has destroyed the environment and in particular water ways. Organic products are grown without using artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic insect control practices.
You can purchase beautiful organic baby clothes online from a number of retailers. Sckoon is my favourite for organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Organic Clothing
Purchasing organic produce means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or a reduction in the use of herbicides and fertilizers means less pollution of our land and waterways, reduced diseases for farm workers, and fewer health risks for children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.
Quite a few producers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic items or you can find shops completely committed to organic baby fashion. Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to teenagers. Obviously, organic clothing for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I would not go as far to say that I am only going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am most definitely going try to whenever I can.
