Organic Baby Clothing MINNEAPOLIS

Before I had my first child, I never imagined I would belong to a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I have become a mum, being able to talk to other parents about what is taking place in my life has really helped me. We discuss how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we enjoy being able to discuss the newest baby fashions we have purchased.

I generally get together with 3 other women, once a month, to catch up on the latest gossip. We often meet at Premier Restaurant Equipment (which is in MINNEAPOLIS, MN) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last week was more exciting seeing we chatted about organic baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby girl organic food from day one but it had never crossed my mind to purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most broadly grown products in the US and one of the most devastating to the ecosystem and to farmers. The run off from cotton farms has destroyed habitats and in particular water ways. Organic produce is grown without using artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Rather, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control practices.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Purchasing organic clothing means you are getting produce which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less pollution of our habitat. No or a reduction in the use of pesticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our farms and waterways, fewer diseases for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

A number of wholesalers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothing or you can find companies entirely dedicated to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from babies to teenagers. Of course, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I do not think that I am only going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am absolutely going try to whenever possible.
