Organic Baby Clothing MILLEDGEVILLE

Long before I had my first child, I had not thought I would join a mothers group. However, now that I have become a mother, talking to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has benefited me immensely. We talk about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to chat about the newest baby fashions we have purchased.

I generally meet with 4 other mothers, once a month, to find out the latest happenings. We often meet at Bird House Cafe (which is in MILLEDGEVILLE, IL) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last week was really interesting because we discussed organic baby clothing. I have been feeding my baby organic meals from the beginning but it had never crossed my mind to getting organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most widely grown crops in the world and one of the most ruinous to the habitat and to farm employees. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has damaged the environment and especially water ways. Organic produce is produced without using artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Instead, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control methods.

You can purchase beautiful organic baby apparel online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Buying organic clothing means you are buying products which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or less use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our farms and lakes, fewer cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for children by lessening their contact with dangerous chemicals.

Quite a few wholesalers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothing or you can find companies completely committed to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from toddlers to older children. Obviously, organic fashion for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I am not saying that I am only ever going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am absolutely going try to whenever possible.
