Organic Baby Clothing MILFORD

Before I had my baby, I never really thought I would join a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I have become a new mother, talking to other parents about what is happening in my life has benefited me immensely. We talk about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to talk about the newest baby outfits we have bought.

I usually go out with 4 other mothers, once a fortnight, to catch up on the latest happenings. We often meet at Broad Street Brasseria (which is in MILFORD, PA) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last week was more interesting because we chatted about baby clothes. I have been giving my baby organic produce from day one but it had never crossed my mind to buying organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular crops in America and one of the most ruinous to the environment and to farmers. The run off from cotton farms has destroyed habitats and in particular water ways. Organic produce is produced without the use of artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic insect control methods.

You can get organic cotton baby clothing online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Organic Clothing

Getting organic products means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less pollution of our habitat. No or reduced use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and rivers, reduced diseases for farmers, and fewer health risks for children by reducing their contact with dangerous chemicals.

Quite a few wholesalers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothes or you can find shops entirely committed to organic baby clothing. Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to teenagers. Naturally, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I do not think that I am only ever going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am definitely going try to whenever possible.
